SMSC Property

Description:

The SMSC property is used to specify the service centre number which will be used for sending text messages and wap push messages.

   

Usage
  • ObjectName.SMSC = strSMSC
  • strSMSC = ObjectName.SMSC

Access Mode Read/Write
Remarks
  • SMSC number can be specified in international or national  format (numbers starting with '+' sign are considered as international format).
  • If SMSC is not specified then the SMSC number stored in SIM is used for sending the messages.
  • This SMSC property has different significance as compared to the SMSC property of Message Item in Inbox Collection
