Network Property

Description:

The Network property returns the identification of the operator in whose network the the modem (SIM) is currently registered.

   

Usage strNetwork = ObjectName.Network
Value Type String
Access Mode Read Only
Remarks The network identification is returned in one of the following formats (depending on which format is available/supported by the modem and/or network,  in order of sequence given below):
  • Long format alphanumeric
  • Short format alphanumeric
  • Numeric (as specified in GSM 07.07 and GSM 04.08)

Important Note:

  • Use NetworkEx property to read network identification if Network property returns Numeric format or it gives a error.
  • NetworkEx property takes more time to read network identification as compared to Network property
