Using mCore™
Application Development
- Use mCore™ demo application mCoreDemo.exe to verify proper
installation of mCore™ SMS ActiveX component and also to verify proper
communication between your computer and the GSM Modem/Phone.
- Use development tools that support ActiveX component (e.g. Visual Basic,
Visual C++ etc) and create a new project.
- Add a reference to mCore™ ActiveX Component (e.g. in VB6 go to menu
'Project - References' and select 'mCore 1.8 SMS Library' from the list).
- Create an instance of mCore.SMS object.
- If you have purchased mCore™ license then License method to enter
the licensing information in LicenseType, Company and Key properties.
- If you have not purchased a license key yet then you can continue to use mCore™
with its Trial version limitations.
- Use various mCore™ properties, methods and objects to write your
application. (Refer Sample Codes section).
Application Distribution
- If you have purchased distribution license for mCore™ (License type
"LITE-DISTRIBUTION" or "PRO-DISTRIBUTION") then you may
rent, lease or distribute an unlimited number of licenses of mCore™ (mCore.dll)
outside your organization bundled with an application.
- mCore.dll ActiveX Component is the only file required to distribute mCore™
across computer systems. Copy it to any location (e.g. Windows System32
directory or your application directory) and register it as ActiveX
component in the registry (e.g. using regsvr32 utility or other tool that
your installer provides).
